We are so excited to have you join the Bobcat family!  Orientation is designed to prepare new students and their families for the Peru State College undergraduate experience. All first-year students are required to attend this New Student Orientation. 

During orientation, students will:

• Become acquainted with academic support services and co-curricular activities
• Register for classes
• Complete several key processes that will help ensure academic success

This event is full of information, important to the comfort level of being a new student on the campus of Peru State.  There will also be sessions specifically geared toward parents/guardians/guests.

Orientation dates to select from:  May 2nd---May 30th---June 9th---June 27th

Peru State College strongly encourages all students to attend an on-campus orientation to fully experience what our community has to offer.

However, we understand that some students may face challenges that make travel difficult. If you live more than 180 miles from campus, you’re eligible to attend one of our virtual orientation sessions on June 13 or July 14. Details and registration information will be emailed to you beginning April 1.

If you live within 180 miles of campus but are unable to attend in person, please reach out to your admission counselor or athletic coach—we’re happy to work with you to find a solution that fits your situation.

Specific details and times are being determined at this time. More information will be available closer to the event date. 

We do recommend that you sign up for orientation as early as possible. The best selection of classes will be available to the students who register for classes early.

In order to participate in the orientation program, students must be admitted to Peru State.  Before orientation, students should:

• Make sure the Office of Admissions has official transcripts from your high school and all post-secondary institutions attended.
• Although not required, we do encourage students who have taken the ACT/SAT to send in official scores. 
• Access your myPSC account To Do List to review requested items.

Although we do not recommend changing sessions, if you are unable to attend the date which you have signed up for, please notify the Office of Admissions of the cancellation or need to reschedule.
